1. Downtown Lake Worth Beach
This vibrant downtown area is best described as colorful, artistic and bohemian. 2. Cultural Council of Palm Beach County
At the Cultural Council's headquarters in the historic Robert M. Montgomery, Jr. Building downtown, you'll find gallery exhibitions from local artists, along with the Roe Green Uniquely Palm Beach Store, which features beautiful artist-made jewelry, handbags, accessories, and books all made in The Palm Beaches. While you’re there, stop by the Jean S. and Frederic A. Sharf Visitor Information Center and pick up the Council's award-winning art and culture magazine, along with brochures and publications from cultural organizations throughout Palm Beach County.
 

3. Lake Worth Playhouse
The Lake Worth Playhouse occupies the former Oakley Theatre, the oldest building on the register of the Art Deco Society of Palm Beach County. Today, the Playhouse is proud to offer a variety of mainstream and alternative programming, both live and on film. Year-round programming includes award-winning dramas, comedies, musicals, area premieres, Broadway favorites, children’s shows, international ballets and operas in cinema, and live concert series. In addition to its main stage theatrical fare, the Playhouse presents daily independent and foreign films in the Stonzek Theatre, an intimate black-box style theater equipped with a large viewing screen and high-definition projection.

4. Cottages of Lake Worth
The Cottages of Lake Worth allows locals and visitors to get a behind-the-scenes feel of historic Key West-style cottages, while also experiencing the hidden beauty of Lake Worth. The city has a cottage heritage that’s unique to South Florida. There are about 1,000 cottages in Lake Worth – many on 25 foot wide lots, under 1,000 square feet and built prior to 1939. On an Inside The Cottages Home Tour, visitors can check out more than 10 of these whimsical cottages, as well as get the opportunity to chat with the welcoming homeowners who embody living large in small spaces.

5. Lake Worth Casino Building & Beach Complex
On the shores of the Atlantic Ocean lies the historic Lake Worth Casino Building and Beach Complex, perfect for soaking up the sun and taking in scenic views. The new casino building remains true to the original 1920's architecture. While there’s no gambling at the new building, the name "Casino" remains as a reminder of the history and importance of the building to the citizens of Lake Worth. The complex features an oceanfront park and picnic facilities. Beach chairs, lounges and cabanas are available to rent at the beach. Also, there you will find the famous William O. Lockhart Municipal Pier, a popular fishing spot for locals which also offers oceanside dining at Benny’s on the Beach. This unassuming little shack by the water is known for fresh seafood, but they also make delicious American breakfasts and pastries.
