Some home sellers rely on the help of an agent so they don't have to deal with the hassle of a real estate transaction. However, you don't need a realtor if you're looking to sell your property and buy a new one. According to the National Association of Realtors, FSBO’s (for sale by owners) accounted for approximately 8% of home sales in 2014.
